  1. The holy garments that belong to Aaron will belong to his sons after him, so they can be anointed and ordained in them.
  2. And after this all the Israelites came near, and Moses commanded them to do everything that the LORD had told him on Mount Sinai.
  3. They received from Moses all the contributions that the Israelites had brought to carry out the service of constructing the sanctuary. Meanwhile, the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning,
  4. After Moses had given an order, they sent a proclamation throughout the camp: “No man or woman should make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing more,
  5. After that, Moses presented the other ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
  6. The priest is to examine the infection on his skin, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the sore appears to be deeper than the skin, it is a skin disease. After the priest examines him, he must pronounce him unclean.
  7. But if the rash spreads further on his skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he must present himself again to the priest.
  8. If, however, the scaly outbreak spreads further on the skin after his cleansing,
  9. After it has been washed, the priest is to reexamine it, and if the mildewed article has not changed in appearance, it is unclean. Even though the mildew has not spread, you must burn it, whether the rot is on the front or back.
  10. If the priest examines it and the mildew has faded after it has been washed, he must cut the contaminated section out of the fabric, leather, weave, or knit.
  11. If the mildew disappears from the fabric, weave, or knit, or any leather article after washing, then it is to be washed again, and it will be clean.
  12. Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering
  13. And after he slaughters the lamb for the guilt offering, the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
  14. The priest must order that the house be cleared before he enters it to examine the mildew, so that nothing in the house will become unclean. After this, the priest shall go in to inspect the house.
  15. If the mildew reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house has been scraped and replastered,
  16. If, however, the priest comes and inspects it, and the mildew has not spread after the house has been replastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the mildew is gone.
  17. When a woman is cleansed of her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be ceremonially clean.
  18. Now the LORD spoke to Moses after the death of two of Aaron’s sons when they approached the presence of the LORD.
  19. After Aaron casts lots for the two goats, one for the LORD and the other for the scapegoat,
  20. No one may be in the Tent of Meeting from the time Aaron goes in to make atonement in the Most Holy Place until he leaves, after he has made atonement for himself, his household, and the whole assembly of Israel.
  21. And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD so that it may be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.
  22. From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you are to count off seven full weeks.
  23. You shall count off fifty days until the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.
  24. On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the produce of the land, you are to celebrate a feast to the LORD for seven days. There shall be complete rest on the first day and also on the eighth day.
  25. If a man sells a house in a walled city, he retains his right of redemption until a full year after its sale; during that year it may be redeemed.
  26. You may leave them to your sons after you to inherit as property; you can make them slaves for life. But as for your brothers, the Israelites, no man may rule harshly over his brother.
  27. …he retains the right of redemption after he has sold himself. One of his brothers may redeem him:
  28. And if after all this you will not obey Me, I will proceed to punish you sevenfold for your sins.
  29. But I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out a sword after you as your land becomes desolate and your cities are laid waste.

  32. After the priest has the woman stand before the LORD, he is to let down her hair and place in her hands the grain offering of memorial, which is the grain offering for jealousy. The priest is to hold the bitter water that brings a curse.
  33. Then the priest is to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial portion and burn it on the altar; after that he is to have the woman drink the water.
  34. The priest shall then wave them as a wave offering before the LORD. This is a holy portion for the priest, in addition to the breast of the wave offering and the thigh that was presented. After that, the Nazirite may drink wine.
  35. All the livestock sacrificed for the peace offering totaled twenty-four bulls, sixty rams, sixty male goats, and sixty male lambs a year old. This was the dedication offering for the altar after it was anointed.
  36. After you have cleansed them and presented them as a wave offering, they may come to serve at the Tent of Meeting.
  37. After that, the Levites came to perform their service at the Tent of Meeting in the presence of Aaron and his sons. Thus they did with the Levites just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
  38. After that, they may assist their brothers in fulfilling their duties at the Tent of Meeting, but they themselves are not to do the work. This is how you are to assign responsibilities to the Levites.”
  39. In the first month of the second year after Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Wilderness of Sinai:
  40. Then Moses heard the people of family after family weeping at the entrances to their tents, and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly, and Moses was also displeased.
  41. But the LORD answered Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days; after that she may be brought back in.”
  42. After that, the people set out from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.
  43. After forty days the men returned from spying out the land,
  44. “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: After you enter the land that I am giving you as a home
  45. Then the priest must wash his clothes and bathe his body in water; after that he may enter the camp, but he will be ceremonially unclean until evening.
  46. The man who is ceremonially clean is to sprinkle the unclean person on the third day and on the seventh day. After he purifies the unclean person on the seventh day, the one being cleansed must wash his clothes and bathe in water, and that evening he will be clean.
  47. After they had set out from Kadesh, the whole congregation of Israel came to Mount Hor.
  48. After Moses had removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar, Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.
  49. After Moses had sent spies to Jazer, Israel captured its villages and drove out the Amorites who were there.
  50. After the plague had ended, the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest,
  51. After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was;
  52. But if he nullifies them after he hears of them, then he will bear her iniquity.”
  53. “Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people.”

  83. For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and turn from the path I have commanded you. And in the days to come, disaster will befall you because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD to provoke Him to anger by the work of your hands.”
  84. Now after the death of His servant Moses, the LORD spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying,
  85. After three days the officers went through the camp
  86. …and after everyone had finished crossing, the priests with the ark of the LORD crossed in the sight of the people.
  87. Now this is why Joshua circumcised them: All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of war—had died on the journey in the wilderness after they had left Egypt.
  88. And after all the nation had been circumcised, they stayed there in the camp until they were healed.
  89. The day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate unleavened bread and roasted grain from the produce of the land.
  90. And the day after they had eaten from the produce of the land, the manna ceased. There was no more manna for the Israelites, so that year they began to eat the crops of the land of Canaan.
  91. After Joshua had spoken to the people, seven priests carrying seven rams’ horns before the LORD advanced and blew the horns, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.
  92. After the seventh time around, the priests blew the horns, and Joshua commanded the people, “Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!
  93. Not a man was left in Ai or Bethel who did not go out after Israel, leaving the city wide open while they pursued Israel.
  94. Three days after they had made the treaty with the Gibeonites, the Israelites learned that they were neighbors, living among them.
  95. After marching all night from Gilgal, Joshua caught them by surprise.
  96. After this, Joshua struck down and killed the kings, and he hung their bodies on five trees and left them there until evening.

  98. (Later, when the territory of the Danites was lost to them, they went up and fought against Leshem, captured it, and put it to the sword. So they took possession of Leshem, settled there, and renamed it after their father Dan.)
  99. A long time after the LORD had given Israel rest from all the enemies around them, when Joshua was old and well along in years,
  100. After this, you crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho. The people of Jericho fought against you, as did the Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hittites, Girgashites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I delivered them into your hand.
