  70. While Jesus was saying these things, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said. “But come and place Your hand on her, and she will live.”
  71. She said to herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed.”
  72. Jesus turned and saw her. “Take courage, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that very hour.
  73. Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.”
  74. And when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”

  85. Then Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
  86. And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown and in his own household is a prophet without honor.”
  87. …and said to his servants, “This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”
  88. Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”
  89. When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is already late. Dismiss the crowds so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
  90. “Bring them here to Me,” Jesus said.
  91. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear.
  92. “Come,” said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.

  96. Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
  97. Peter said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
  98. The woman came and knelt before Him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
  99. “Yes, Lord,” she said, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
  100. Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”
