  13. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be forgiven. The remainder will belong to the priest, like the grain offering.”
  14. He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved them before the LORD as a wave offering.
  15. Then Moses took these from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.

  20. Of these you may eat any kind of locust, katydid, cricket, or grasshopper.
  21. These creatures will make you unclean. Whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean until evening,
  22. These animals are unclean for you among all the crawling creatures. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening.
  23. The priest who performs the cleansing shall present the one to be cleansed, together with these offerings, before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
  24. If, however, the person is poor and cannot afford these offerings, he is to take one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for him, along with a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil,
  25. Anyone who touches these things will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean until evening.
  26. He is to wear the sacred linen tunic, with linen undergarments. He must tie a linen sash around him and put on the linen turban. These are holy garments, and he must bathe himself with water before he wears them.

  75. Where can I get meat for all these people? For they keep crying out to me, ‘Give us meat to eat!’
  76. I cannot carry all these people by myself; it is too burdensome for me.

  78. These were the names of the men Moses sent to spy out the land; and Moses gave to Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.

  81. And when Moses relayed these words to all the Israelites, the people mourned bitterly.
  82. Everyone who is native-born shall prepare these things in this way when he presents a food offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
  83. Now if you stray unintentionally and do not obey all these commandments that the LORD has spoken to Moses—
  84. These will serve as tassels for you to look at, so that you may remember all the commandments of the LORD, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by following your own heart and your own eyes.
  85. Moreover, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey or given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you gouge out the eyes of these men? No, we will not come!”
  86. And he warned the congregation, “Move away now from the tents of these wicked men. Do not touch anything that belongs to them, or you will be swept away because of all their sins.”
  87. Then Moses said, “This is how you will know that the LORD has sent me to do all these things, for it was not my own doing:
  88. If these men die a natural death, or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.
  89. But if the LORD brings about something unprecedented, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them and all that belongs to them so that they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have treated the LORD with contempt.”
  90. As for the censers of those who sinned at the cost of their own lives, hammer them into sheets to overlay the altar, for these were presented before the LORD, and so have become holy. They will serve as a sign to the Israelites.”
  91. So you are to present an offering to the LORD from all the tithes you receive from the Israelites, and from these you are to give the LORD’s offering to Aaron the priest.
  92. These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD, and He showed His holiness among them.

  94. That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, get up and go with them, but you must only do what I tell you.”
