  23. At this, Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what He is about to do.
  24. This food will be a reserve for the land during the seven years of famine to come upon the land of Egypt. Then the country will not perish in the famine.”
  25. This proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his officials.
  26. So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, in whom the Spirit of God abides?”
  27. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.
  28. And this is how you will be tested: As surely as Pharaoh lives, you shall not leave this place unless your youngest brother comes here.

  38. When Joseph looked up and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son, he asked, “Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?” Then he declared, “May God be gracious to you, my son.”

  46. So Joseph established a law that a fifth of the produce belongs to Pharaoh, and it is in effect in the land of Egypt to this day. Only the priests’ land does not belong to Pharaoh.
  47. …and told me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you; I will make you a multitude of peoples, and will give this land to your descendants after you as an everlasting possession.’

  64. When Pharaoh heard about this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and settled in the land of Midian, where he sat down beside a well.
  65. So Moses thought, “I must go over and see this marvelous sight. Why is the bush not burning up?”
  66. Then He said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.
  67. “I will surely be with you,” God said, “and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship God on this mountain.”

  77. So the taskmasters and foremen of the people went out and said to them, “This is what Pharaoh says: ‘I am no longer giving you straw.

  79. So Moses returned to the LORD and asked, “Lord, why have You brought trouble upon this people? Is this why You sent me?

  89. “This is the finger of God,” the magicians said to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said.
  90. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, and when Pharaoh goes out to the water, stand before him and tell him that this is what the LORD says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.
  91. But on that day I will give special treatment to the land of Goshen, where My people live; no swarms of flies will be found there. In this way you will know that I, the LORD, am in the land.
  92. I will make a distinction between My people and your people. This sign will take place tomorrow.’”
  93. Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God within this land.”
  94. But Pharaoh hardened his heart this time as well, and he would not let the people go.
  95. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.
  96. The LORD set a time, saying, “Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land.”
  97. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning, stand before Pharaoh, and tell him that this is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.
  98. For by this time I could have stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with a plague to wipe you off the earth.
  99. But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power to you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
  100. Behold, at this time tomorrow I will rain down the worst hail that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded until now.
