Well of the Serpent

The Well of the Serpent was at an unknown location along the wall of Jerusalem. It stood somewhere between the Valley Gate and the Dung Gate. Nehemiah passed it while inspecting the wall at night (Nehemiah 2:13). Some Bible translations call it Jackal’s Well or Dragon’s Well.
