New Testament
The New Testament is the second main part of the Bible. It tells about the life and teaching of Jesus and the early church (the first community of believers).
The New Testament contains 27 books. These books include:
the four Gospels, which tell about the life of Jesus:
21 letters written to churches and individuals:
the book of Revelation.
The New Testament was written in Greek and focuses on God’s work through Jesus to bring salvation.
