Rodanim, Rodanites

Rodanim, or Rodanites, were descendants of Javan, a son of Japheth and grandson of Noah (1 Chronicles 1:7). In Genesis 10:4, some Hebrew manuscripts use the name Dodanites instead. The names probably refer to people from Rhodes and nearby islands in the Aegean Sea.
