Sandalwood

Sandalwood is a type of wood from a tree known for its pleasant smell. It was valued for making fine objects and decorations.

In the Bible, sandalwood likely refers to almug wood (a special kind of wood used in building and musical instruments; see 1 Kings 10:11–12).
