Seneh was one of two rocky cliffs at a pass through the Wadi es-Suweinit. Jonathan and the man who carried his weapons crossed this pass when they fought a small battle against the Philistines.

The cliff opposite Seneh was called Bozez. Bozez faced Michmash to the north, while Seneh faced Geba to the south (1 Samuel 14:4–5).
