Shemida, Shemidah, Shemidaite

Shemida was the father of the family group called the Shemidaites (Numbers 26:32). This clan was part of the tribe of Manasseh (Joshua 17:2; 1 Chronicles 7:19). Shemidah is an alternate spelling of Shemida.
