Withered Hand

A withered hand is a hand that has become weak, shriveled, or unable to function normally because of disease, injury, or another physical condition. In the Gospels, Jesus healed a man with a withered hand, showing his compassion and authority to heal, even on the Sabbath (Matthew 12:9–13; Mark 3:1–6; Luke 6:6–11).
