a prophet’s reward: This can mean either the same reward a prophet gets or the benefits of a prophet's service.
a righteous man: This is someone who follows God’s law as taught by John the Baptist (Matthew 21:32) and Jesus (see 3:15). This is why God approves of them (13:43, 49; 25:37–46).
