Although many Israelites, God's chosen people, have rejected the gospel, people from all over the world will accept God's offer of salvation and attend the future banquet of the Messiah (see 14:15; 17:20; Isaiah 2:2; 25:6–8; 51:4; 52:10; 55:5; 56:7; 59:19; Micah 4:1–2; Zechariah 2:13; Malachi 1:11).
