In Acts, visions often happen while people are praying (9:3–6, 10–16; 10:2–6, 9–12; 11:5–9; 12:9–17; 18:9–10; 22:17–21; 23:11). These visions are not random. They show God's saving work and give divine guidance and encouragement.
