Because of Jesus and his decisive and sacrificial work for us, Christians still have sacrifices to offer to God. These sacrifices are praise and obedience. Christ ended the old covenant sacrifices when he gave himself as the final sacrifice (Hebrews 7:27–28; 8:13; 9:11–14; 10:11–14). Now these spiritual sacrifices are the ones that please God.
