Nehushtan

Nehushtan, mentioned in 2 Kings 18:4, was the name given to the bronze serpent that Moses made in the wilderness (Numbers 21:8-9), which had become an object of idolatrous worship by the time of King Hezekiah.

The name Nehushtan means “a trifling thing of brass”
