Isaiah 32
A Righteous King
2Each will be like a shelter from the wind,
a refuge from the storm,
like streams of water in a dry land,
like the shadow of a great rock in an arid land.
2And each man will be like a hiding place from the wind and a cover from the tempest, like streams of waters in a dry land, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.
6For a fool speaks foolishness;
his mind plots iniquity.
He practices ungodliness
and speaks falsely about the LORD;
he leaves the hungry empty
and deprives the thirsty of drink.
6for a foolish one speaks foolishness, and his heart makes trouble, to practice profanity and to speak error against YHWH, keeping empty the soul of the hungry, and the thirsty he deprives of drink.
The Women of Jerusalem
14For the palace will be forsaken,
the busy city abandoned.
The hilla and the watchtower will become caves forever—
the delight of wild donkeys
and a pasture for flocks—
14For the palace will be forsaken, the clamor of the city will be forsaken, and the citadel and watchtower will become as dens even to forever—the joy of wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks—
