Everyone who is proud in heart is detestable to the LORD; be assured that he will not go unpunished.
Traditional
Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Literal
An abomination to YHWH is everyone high of heart; hand to hand, he will not be acquitted.
Latin
Abominatio Domini est omnis arrogans; etiamsi manus ad manum fuerit, non est innocens. Initium viæ bonæ facere justitiam; accepta est autem apud Deum magis quam immolare hostias.

Notes

God dislikes proud people who do not follow the Lord's ways (Proverbs 16:3). They wrongly think they can succeed without help (Proverbs 16:1).
