1A song of ascents. Of David.
Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers live together in harmony!
1A Song of the Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant is the dwelling of brothers even together!
2It is like fine oil on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down Aaron’s beard
over the collar of his robes.
2It is good like oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, which is running down upon the mouth of his garments;
3It is like the dew of Hermon
falling on the mountains of Zion.
For there the LORD has bestowed the blessing
of life forevermore.
3or like the dew of Hermon, which is coming down upon the mountains of Zion. For there YHWH commanded the blessing—life even to forever!
