Revelation 19
Rejoicing in Heaven
1After this I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting:
“Hallelujah!a
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!
1After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying: “Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the power of our God!
2For His judgments are true and just.
He has judged the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her immorality.
He has avenged the blood of His servants
that was poured out by her hand.”
2For true and righteous are His judgments, because He judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth in her sexual immorality, and He avenged the blood of His servants, out of her hand.”
The Marriage of the Lamb
6And I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude, like the rushing of many waters, and like a mighty rumbling of thunder, crying out:
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our Goda the Almighty reigns.
6And I heard something like a voice of a great multitude, and as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of strong thunders, saying: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, has reigned.
9Then the angel told me to write, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
9And he says to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those having been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb.’” And he says to me, “These are the true words of God.”
10So I fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
10And I fell before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, “See, no! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers, those having the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
The Rider on the White Horse
11Then I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse. And its rider is called Faithful and True. With righteousness He judges and wages war.
11And I saw heaven having been opened, and behold, a white horse, and the One sitting upon it called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
15And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with an iron scepter.a He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
15And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations; and He will shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the press of the wine of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet
17Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
17And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven, “Come, gather yourselves together unto the great supper of God,
18so that you may eat the flesh of kings and commanders and mighty men, of horses and riders, of everyone slave and free, small and great.”
18so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong men, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both free and slaves and small and great.”
19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies assembled to wage war against the One seated on the horse, and against His army.
19And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies having been gathered together to make war with the One sitting on the horse and with His army.
20But the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
20And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet, the one having done the signs before him, by which he deceived those having received the mark of the beast and those worshiping its image. The two were cast living into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.
21And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One seated on the horse.
And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
21And the rest were killed with the sword of the One sitting on the horse, having gone forth out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
