Zechariah 4
The Vision of the Lampstand and Olive Trees
2“What do you see?” he asked.
“I see a solid gold lampstand,” I replied, “with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven spouts to the lamps.
2and he said to me: “What are you seeing?” And I said, “I am looking, and behold, a lampstand of gold, all of it, and a bowl on its head, and seven lamps on it—seven and seven pipes for the lamps that are on its head.
7What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring forth the capstone accompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
7Who are you, great mountain? Before the face of Zerubbabel as a plain; and he will bring forth the stone at the head with shouts: ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
9“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you.
9“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and His hands will complete it. And you will know that YHWH of Hosts has sent Me to you.
10For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven eyesa of the LORD, which scan the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb lineb in the hand of Zerubbabel.”
10For who has despised the day of small things, and they will rejoice when they see the tin plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel? These seven, they are the eyes of YHWH, roving about through all the earth.”
12And I questioned him further, “What are the two olive branches beside the two gold pipes from which the golden oila pours?”
12And I answered a second time and said to him: “What are the two branches of the olive trees that, into the hands of the two pipes of gold, are emptying out from them the gold?”
