1. Numbers 8:9בְּנֵ֥י
   Bring the Levites before the Tent of Meeting and assemble the whole congregation of Israel.
2. Numbers 8:10בְנֵי־ · and have the Israelites
   You are to present the Levites before the LORD and have the Israelites lay their hands upon them.
3. Numbers 8:11בְּנֵ֣י · from the sons
   Aaron is to present the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the sons of Israel, so that they may perform the service of the LORD.
4. Numbers 8:13בָנָ֑יו · and his sons
   You are to have the Levites stand before Aaron and his sons and then present them before the LORD as a wave offering.
5. Numbers 8:14בְּנֵ֣י
   In this way you shall separate the Levites from the rest of the Israelites, and the Levites will belong to Me.
6. Numbers 8:16בְּנֵ֣י · the sons; מִבְּנֵ֣י · the sons
   For the Levites have been wholly given to Me from among the sons of Israel. I have taken them for Myself in place of all who come first from the womb, the firstborn of all the sons of Israel.
7. Numbers 8:17בִּבְנֵ֣י · male
   For every firstborn male in Israel is Mine, both man and beast. I set them apart for Myself on the day I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt.
8. Numbers 8:18בִּבְנֵ֥י · among the sons
   But I have taken the Levites in place of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.
9. Numbers 8:19וּלְבָנָ֗יו; בְּנֵ֣י · [and] his sons; בְּנֵֽי־ · for the Israelites; בְּנֵ֣י · on their; בִּבְנֵ֤י · against the Israelites; בְּנֵֽי־ · when they
   And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the Israelites, to perform the service for the Israelites at the Tent of Meeting and to make atonement on their behalf, so that no plague will come against the Israelites when they approach the sanctuary.”
10. Numbers 8:20בְּנֵי־; בְּנֵ֥י · [they]
    So Moses, Aaron, and the whole congregation of Israel did with the Levites everything that the LORD had commanded Moses they should do.
11. Numbers 8:22בָנָ֑יו · and his sons
    After that, the Levites came to perform their service at the Tent of Meeting in the presence of Aaron and his sons. Thus they did with the Levites just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
12. Numbers 8:24מִבֶּן֩ · years of age
    “This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years of age or older shall enter to perform the service in the work at the Tent of Meeting.
13. Numbers 8:25וּמִבֶּן֙ · But at the age
    But at the age of fifty, they must retire from performing the work and no longer serve.
14. Numbers 9:2בְנֵי־ · The Israelites
    “The Israelites are to observe the Passover at its appointed time.
15. Numbers 9:4בְּנֵ֥י · the Israelites
    So Moses told the Israelites to observe the Passover,
16. Numbers 9:5בְּנֵ֥י · The Israelites
    …and they did so in the Wilderness of Sinai, at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
17. Numbers 9:7בְּנֵ֥י · the other Israelites
    …and said to Moses, “We are unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be excluded from presenting the LORD’s offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?”
18. Numbers 9:10בְּנֵ֥י · the Israelites
    “Tell the Israelites: ‘When any one of you or your descendants is unclean because of a dead body, or is away on a journey, he may still observe the Passover to the LORD.
19. Numbers 9:17בְּנֵ֣י · the Israelites; בְּנֵ֥י · the Israelites
    Whenever the cloud was lifted from above the Tent, the Israelites would set out, and wherever the cloud settled, there the Israelites would camp.
20. Numbers 9:18בְּנֵ֣י · the Israelites
    At the LORD’s command the Israelites set out, and at the LORD’s command they camped. As long as the cloud remained over the tabernacle, they remained encamped.
21. Numbers 9:19בְנֵי־ · the Israelites
    Even when the cloud lingered over the tabernacle for many days, the Israelites kept the LORD’s charge and did not set out.
22. Numbers 9:22בְנֵֽי־ · the Israelites
    Whether the cloud lingered for two days, a month, or longer, the Israelites camped and did not set out as long as the cloud remained over the tabernacle; but when it was lifted, they would set out.
23. Numbers 10:8וּבְנֵ֤י · The sons
    The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to sound the trumpets. This shall be a permanent statute for you and the generations to come.
24. Numbers 10:12בְנֵֽי־ · and the Israelites
    …and the Israelites set out from the Wilderness of Sinai, traveling from place to place until the cloud settled in the Wilderness of Paran.
25. Numbers 10:14בְנֵֽי־ · of Judah; בֶּן־ · son
    First, the divisions of the camp of Judah set out under their standard, with Nahshon son of Amminadab in command.
26. Numbers 10:15בְּנֵ֣י · son; בֶּן־
    Nethanel son of Zuar was over the division of the tribe of Issachar,
27. Numbers 10:16בְּנֵ֣י · son; בֶּן־
    …and Eliab son of Helon was over the division of the tribe of Zebulun.
28. Numbers 10:17בְנֵֽי־ · and the Gershonites; וּבְנֵ֣י · and the Merarites
    Then the tabernacle was taken down, and the Gershonites and the Merarites set out, transporting it.
29. Numbers 10:18בֶּן־ · son
    Then the divisions of the camp of Reuben set out under their standard, with Elizur son of Shedeur in command.
30. Numbers 10:19בְּנֵ֣י · son; בֶּן־
    Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai was over the division of the tribe of Simeon,
31. Numbers 10:20בְנֵי־ · son; בֶּן־ · of Gad
    …and Eliasaph son of Deuel was over the division of the tribe of Gad.
32. Numbers 10:22בְנֵֽי־ · of Ephraim; בֶּן־ · son
    Next, the divisions of the camp of Ephraim set out under their standard, with Elishama son of Ammihud in command.
33. Numbers 10:23בְּנֵ֣י · son; בֶּן־ · of Manasseh
    Gamaliel son of Pedahzur was over the division of the tribe of Manasseh,
34. Numbers 10:24בְּנֵ֣י · son
    …and Abidan son of Gideoni was over the division of the tribe of Benjamin.
