English

Notes
Michal's contempt for David (compare 2 Samuel 6:16–23) contrasts with God's blessing on the celebration (1 Chronicles 15:26). Her description as Saul's daughter suggests her attitude reflected her father's disregard for the Lord (see 1 Samuel 10:10–12; 13:7–14; 15:10–23; 28:1–25).
David once more planned to bring the ark of God to Jerusalem. This time, he prepared carefully to ensure success.
