2. Definite, with art.;
(a) preceding subst.: Matthew 4:23, 24, Luke 8:39, 1 Corinthians 12:17, al.;
(b) following subst.: Mark 1:33, Luke 9:25, John 4:53, Acts 21:30, al.;
(with) between art. and subst., where subst. is an abstract noun (Plat., al.).
