1A Psalm of David.
The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof,a
the world and all who dwell therein.
1A Psalm of David. Unto YHWH is the earth and its fullness, the world and those dwelling in it.
2For He has founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the waters.
2For He has founded it upon the seas, and upon the rivers He established it.
3Who may ascend the hill of the LORD?
Who may stand in His holy place?
3Who will ascend onto the hill of YHWH, or who will stand in His holy place?
4He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idola
or swear deceitfully.
4The one clean of hands and pure of heart, who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, and has not sworn by deceit.
5He will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from the God of his salvation.
5He will lift up a blessing from YHWH, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
